What would happen if people stopped worshipping the King of Kings on the earth He created?
Jesus said, “I tell you, if they keep quiet, the stones would immediately cry out” (Luke 19:40).
Here is something interesting I noticed about that word “cry out.” Jesus used the word kraxousin, and it’s the only time it is referenced in the Bible. It sounds a little like cracks open, doesn’t it? A more common word that has the same meaning is krazó, which occurs 55 times in the Bible. It means “an urgent scream or shriek, using inarticulate shouts that express deep emotion” (Strong’s concordance). It is also read as equivalent to praying or crying for vengeance, as with James 5:4.
What is sound but a vibration? A scream or shriek would warrant a great vibration, wouldn’t it? Perhaps that is why there are so many prophecies regarding earthquakes in the last days. Therefore:
“Let the heavens rejoice, let the earth be glad;
let the sea resound, and all that is in it.
Let the fields be jubilant, and everything in them;
let all the trees of the forest sing for joy.
Let all creation rejoice before the Lord, for he comes,
he comes to judge the earth.
He will judge the world in righteousness
and the peoples in his truth.”
